Even within one country, resorts differ in beaches, infrastructure, transfers and atmosphere. For families, a gentle sea entry, meals and proximity matter; for couples, the area, restaurants and privacy may matter more.

Check the season: some regions may be rainy or extremely hot on your dates, while others are comfortable. This affects a holiday more than hotel stars.
