For the most reliable sun, start with January: Egypt, the UAE, Thailand and the Maldives are in high season. February brings softer weather, and March adds spring options such as Georgia, Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.
New Year dates and Nauryz sell out first. Two to three months ahead gives a wider choice of hotels and flights; two to three weeks ahead usually leaves the pricier or less convenient options. Exact timing depends on the destination and hotel.
For most of them, no: Egypt and the UAE usually issue a permit on arrival, while Thailand, Vietnam and Georgia admit citizens of Kazakhstan visa-free. Rules change, so we check them before payment and again before departure.
